Life as I know it

We put up the Christmas tree today. We did not decorate it. That would be too much work. But I really wanted to put up the Christmas tree, so we did.

Of course, DadGuy is at work, so he will be very surprised when he gets home. There’s no way to not notice the tree, because it is gigantic. Last year after Christmas, I was strolling the aisles of Target looking to see if there was a tree that was 1) pre-lit and 2) under $75 and VOILA. There was a 9 foot, pre-lit tree in my price range. I grabbed it, and was immediately given the stink eye by two other women who had the same game plan. Ha-ha-ha slow pokes.

We also picked up a small tree, because I have a plan, called, “Get everyone their own small tree to decorate”. Plus, I think it would be fun to have a Christmas FOREST in my house. Doesn’t that sound delightful?

I also have a plan to do a little Christmas decorating tomorrow. Mostly, we’re just going to make some paper bunting to hang on the windows… if I feel up to it, that is. I can say we’re going to do something tomorrow, but that doesn’t mean it will happen, because sometimes I suddenly feel like crap. It’s just one of those things I have come to expect in life.

In other news, my hair is falling out.  It’s is annoying, and gross, and annoying.

AND, about a year and a half ago, I started getting these weird splotchy things on my back, that I figured was an embarrassing case of adult acne. But as it turns out, it is NOT acne, and now I have to go to a dermatologist and have a biopsy. SO SO GROSS and I can’t believe I just told you about it. {shudder} Everybody think about rainbows now.
