Today I went to another doctor.
Who is sending me to a neurologist because, you know, I need that kind of evaluation.
Which is supposed to be completed sometime in the next 24 hours.
Question: Do you know how hard it is to get an appointment with a specialist in general, let alone with the whole “in the next 24 hours” thing? Especially when the specialist is a neurologist?
Answer: Really, REALLY difficult.
Also of annoyance: My dumb phone isn’t working right. Which is to say, that you can call me, and I will answer, AND YOU CAN’T HEAR ME. But I can hear you. BUT YOU CAN’T HEAR ME. Which is, you know, AWESOME when you have been calling all of the doctor’s in a 50 mile radius trying to get an appointment.
So, you know, that’s what I’ve been up to.
