I blame the snow for my insomnia.

It has been snowing for 12 hours now.

Trust me, that sounds more impressive than it actually is.

The first 5 hours, it was WARM snowing, so nothing even stuck to the ground. It was like rain, but not.

I'm actually a little bit disappointed. I keep waiting for the snow storm of the century to blow down my front door, and it's just not.

Of course, maybe it will snow fiercely while I sleep tonight.

At any rate, we are fully stocked, and taking a cue from Jen, I went to the store and stocked up on Dorito's and chocolate.

In other news, not weather related, I was thinking about maybe actually doing that whole take a picture every day thing. Of course, just thinking about it has me thinking up excuses because we all know that if I make a GOAL of some sort, I will do everything in my power to self-sabotage. It's how I roll.

Back to the weather, because WHILE WE'RE ON THE TOPIC...

Can we talk about how annoying it is that it is bright as a midsummer's day out there at midnight because the snow is all glistening and reflective and stuff? It is driving me crazy because I need pitch black darkness to sleep and that is currently unavailable. Waah.

Seriously though, I never even THOUGHT about snow and reflections before, but I can tell you this for certain now, I will never live in Alaska, or Minnesota, or anywhere else that will not allow for pitch black darkness at night.

IT'S JUST WRONG.
