Celia told me to come and read this post. I am so sorry for all that you've been through. I cannot imagine dealing with that kindof pain for that long. Just a little pain for a little while throws me over the edge. I'm so glad you're babies are here safe and sound and now you can be all done and get better all the way! Is your middle name JOB? I don't know how you survived all of that! I have been thinking about it since I read it yesterday and couldn't stop thinking about it. It is great that you can remember everything and that you have it recorded. Your posterity will be so amazed and grateful. You must also have some great people around you. OH MY GOODNESS!!! That is just crazy! I'm so glad that things are better now. Are they good, or just better? Oh my. Now I'm glad that I'm done having kids because if I read this BEFORE having children, they might not be here (mine entered the world all very uneventfully -- luckily). I thought that my gaining 60 pounds when I was pregnant was bad (and that was just because I was eating like a pig). Here's to continued good health in 2008!

Your story is incredible, frightening, unbelievable, amazing...I could go on and on. It's a miracle that you and your sweet babies all survived these many ordeals. Your doctors are heroes! My OB/GYN is also a Dr. M, and he is amazing. I wonder if he's the same one?

I've been waiting for this post. I didn't realize the story was so dramatic and heart rending. I thought maybe you just kept forgetting your pills or breaking the condoms or something.

I echo the shock and dismay of your other commenters. I had NO idea!
M's pretty darn freaked out thinking about the surprise things that come with pregnancy - what with hearing awful stories like this, or worse, about the new member of our ward who lost his wife during childbirth - he keeps saying "I'll be more concerned for your health than for the kids".
P.S. You give new meaning to the term "Fertile Myrtle"!
