Vacating

Welp... It's official. The Bingham Family will be vacating Virginia and heading to Los Alamos, New Mexico for our next adventure. This is pretty exciting for us because we'll only be about eight hours drive from family instead of forty. Plus, Troy has an aunt that lives in the area, and she's been super helpful. In fact, Troy is going to crash at her house for a month or so while we hang back in Virginia. He'll start working there in April, and try and secure us a house or apartment.

Naturally, this means that my spring break plan of doing NOTHING has been upped to doing EVERYTHING we wanted/loved about the area one last time before we leave. We HAVE to go see Lincoln Memorial one last time. And we HAVE to tour the DC Temple again... you know, those sorts of things.

I'm also charting our course for our trek back across America. Where do we want to stop? What will be passing? It's a totally different experience this time around because we won't have babies crying in the back seats! (Remember last time we drove cross county? The kids were 1, 2, 3, and 4 years old. This time, we will be 8, 9, 10, and 11 years old. TOTALLY DIFFERENT.)

So, that's that. We are packing and planning and all that jazz, plus we have to gather all our medical records and school records and on and on and on. And in the midst of that, we have to remember that Taylor will be getting baptized before we leave!

My to-do list is 8 miles long.
