Back to school pics. Finally.

We've started training for the turkey trot. Blayne joined a running club at school, so she's been teaching us all how to run. "Breathe in through your nose, and out of your mouth." It's been pretty fun so far. Daniel and Taylor also get to join a running club at their school, and now, our afternoons are spent timing who is the fastest runner, and debating what kinds of shoes/pants/shirts are to blame for not winning. (Not like some of us have shorter legs than others or anything.)

I'm also CAUGHT UP with all my school work. This is exciting, because I always feel like I'm falling behind on something, or missing an assignment... but I'm NOT. For today at least.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for repairs on the kitchen faucet and the dryer. We had the repairmen come and look at everything and verify that, yep, things are broken. But our landlord for some reason likes to order parts himself, and then have people install them. Not like licensed plumbers can get faucets wholesale same-day or anything. (enormous eyeroll) So I'm continuing to do laundry with my ironing board wedged against the door, and we have semi-fixed faucet, because the plumber at least made it so that water wasn't shooting across the kitchen.

yes, this is seriously my faucet right now.

In other news, I finally uploaded pictures onto my computer. I don't know why it takes me so long to do that. (Actually I do. It's because it requires some kind of fore thought.) Here's what we looked like on the first day of school.

Aren't they so cute?
