What we’ve been up to:
{SCHOOL, SCHOOL, AND MORE SCHOOL}
Thaddeus and Blayne are up to their eyeballs in notes, fundraisers, and homework, which means that I am up to my eyeballs in notes, fundraisers, and homework.
Speaking of which, I have finally figured out what works best FOR US as far as homework goes. We have to do it right when we get home from school (okay, after a snack) otherwise, it completely ruins everyone else’s night and then we’re mad and rushed the next morning, which screws up the whole next day, so RIGHT AS SOON AS WE GET HOME it is.
I also kinda, sorta started to do preschool with the two shorties who are home with me during the day because land almighty, they need some sort of stimulation that doesn’t involve kicking, screaming, or biting. It’s amazing what an hour or two or “preschool” will do for a kid.
(But I’m still not joining your co-op. No seriously. DON’T EVEN ASK.)
{FREEZING OUR BUNS OFF}
Not literally (wouldn’t that be nice) but there is a definite chill in the air. I’m just proud of the fact that I, a native born Arizonan, am not wearing a parka and ski mask to the bus stop when it’s only 60 degrees outside. I mean, I’m still wearing SANDALS for Pete’s sake. That’s a big deal.
