Officially

DadGuy is officially in school again.

I forgot how intense it gets.

He has homework. Pages and pages and CHAPTERS of homework.

The kicker is, this isn't even a "real" class. This is his GMAT refresher because he applied for school, and got in PROVIDED HE RETOOK HIS GMAT FROM SEVEN YEARS AGO.

Nowhere did it say anything about the "age" of his score, it just asked for one.

Which also makes me think about how long it's been since he last was IN school. Because it feels like only yesterday, but then I remember that he graduated the summer after Tad was born. So, yeah, it's been awhile.

And since I just pulled out the "feels like only yesterday" card, I officially dub myself old.

  3. Age is relative. And you're not old. Good luck to your husband. And to you, too!

  4. I can relate to your pain. My husband will be in school for the next 20 million years (or 4 but who's counting?).

  5. Right there with ya. Having your husband back to school sucks. My hubby spent most of yesterday writing a paper. I really do feel bad for him.

  6. Ah . . . why don't you join him? Just kidding. Thank goodness my husband was finishing up his last 4 months of school when I decided to go back to school. I don't think our kids could have handled two parents in school full-time AND working full-time. It's just too much. And speaking of school, HOPEFULLY I will get the go-ahead from my Department Chair to publish my thesis when I meet with him tomorrow night. But of course, instead of doing the last minute edits, I am making better use of my time reading blogs.
