Breakthrough

I started watching a little boy a couple of days a week.

He's very extremely adorable.

Day one, it took him about 30 minutes to stop crying, and he never took his shoes off.

Today, he's running around shoeless... AND SHARING HIS GOOD GIRL.

(Which is to say: he's sharing his most beloved and dog-eared puppy.)

And anyone that knows a two year old, knows that sharing ones beloved means:

"Hey, you're good people."

Progress, we are making some.

  1. That is cute...You are so brave for taking on someone else's child. That is hard to do sometimes.

  2. He's a sweetie. Plus, he's mostly here when one of mine is at school. So there's not really any difference.

  3. That is pretty impressive. My kids don't share their beloved toys with anyone.

  4. I like your conclusion from his sharing. lol Reminds me of watching my niece when she was 2. Now she's 6 going on 17. They grow up too quick!

  5. I love how he calls his doggie, "Good Girl". I can just see a little toddler patting the stuffed dog's head and babbling, "Good Girl".

  6. To achieve the love of a child. That is one of the greatest achievements you can ever get.

    Congrats!
